一邊看村上的邊境近境

一邊聽馬世方講約翰藍儂

（村上的散文以一貫輕盈的姿態描寫嚴肅的問題，偶爾還能引人發笑，藍儂的歌詞簡單卻沈重，讓人在心頭醞釀淚意，卻怎麼樣都不會流出來。）

在多次翻譯的過程中

經常遇到作者們引用披頭四的歌詞

（他們大概是僅次於希臘羅馬神話、聖經與莎士比亞之外，最常被引用的）

馬說的對，他們在歷史上已經構成一個現象

從來不算是搖滾樂迷的我

也想知道 他們的魅力在哪裡

God是今天講解與播放的唯一一首歌

這是我的第一首 Lenon單曲

沒想到這首歌是收錄在Beatles解散之後他第一次推出的專輯

john lennon/the plastic ono band中

原本是抱著認識Beatles的心態來聽演講

沒想到聽到的是他對過去Beatles時代的全盤推翻與否定

順便戳破某個時代許多人的夢想與幻想（或作心中的GOD）—還是他過去一手打造的

不過毀滅與自省的力量
異常動人

難怪那時的他們可以搖滾半個地球

至今依然餘力猶存

回家的路上
